Dear Friends and Neighbors:

I want to thank you for the privilege of representing you in the Idaho State Senate. We are so fortunate to live in a democracy, and I am so honored to be able to be a part of the process on your behalf.

I am up for election again this November.  Please let me know if you would like to offer your support for my re-election campaign. Your support will help me to continue my efforts in the Legislature.

Last winter close to a thousand of you responded to my legislative survey.   Thank you so much for taking the time to do this -- the information you shared with me was invaluable in guiding my thoughts throughout the legislative session.

Many of you also took an evening of your time to join Representatives Phylis King and Branden Durst and me at one of the District 18 forums. We had over 50 people at each forum! 

And then, many of you have sent e-mails or letters, or called me regarding specific issues. Your opinions, suggestions, and even criticisms are very useful as I make decisions at the Statehouse.

Please see the "On the Record" page of this website for details about the issues I have worked on during my time in office.  If you want to know more about a particular issue, please contact me and I will be happy to share more information with you.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any thoughts on issues you care about, or if you have ideas for areas on which I should be concentrating my efforts.  Not only do I enjoy hearing from you, but it helps me represent you better. I am honored to be your Senator.
